PROTECTION OF AD-HOC NETWORKS AGAINST DISTRIBUTED SCANNING FROM THE INTERNET

Annotation: The features of ad-hoc network scanning have been studied and methods for its detection have been analyzed. A modification of the hybrid method for detecting scanning from the Internet has been proposed, along with methods for identifying decoy scanning and creating blacklists of subnets to prevent further scanning. The proposed protection methods have been compared with existing counterparts
